Survey on Labour Market Information

Adamawa, Edo, Lagos, Ogun, and Plateau

The programme Skills Development for Youth Employment – SKYE, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is carrying out a short survey to find out how labour market information is being distributed and communicated online in four of its eight focal states – Adamawa, Edo, Lagos, Ogun, and Plateau. The goal of the survey is to improve labour market information systems and to contribute to active labour market measures supported by SKYE.

With the survey, the improvement of labour market information for job seekers and employers is intended, thus supporting the creation of more chances for young people, women and returnees on the labour market, in other words “more jobs and career chances for more people”.

The consultants Abdul Alhassan (Nigeria) and Michael Ellenrieder (Germany) are currently approaching possible partners for further potential cooperation.
